 he Barony of Ruantallan covers the land mundanely known as the provinces of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island in Canada. Within the Known World we are a part of the Northern Shores Region, encompassing all of the Eastern Canadian Provinces from Quebec to Newfoundland. Futher, the Northern Shores Region is part of the East Kingdom, the second oldest Kingdom in the SCA, which includes the Northern Shores Region as well as Eastern Pennsylvania, Eastern New York, Delaware, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.
Our fine Barony is full of kindly gentles, always quick with a smile and a laugh, who study everything from fighting, armouring, costuming, shoemaking, heraldry, and calligraphy to building instruments and researching the songs sung. In short, the people of Ruantallan can be seen re-creating just about any Medieval activity! And our group is always eager for new members to teach, to learn from, and to feast with.
