A new Lieutenant-General at Large - Archery Marshal in Ruantallan

Good gentles one and all greetings from Lady Elise ferch Morgan ap Owen

I bring good tidings that my appointment to the poistion of Lieutenant-General at Large for archery has been given it's blessing by Baron Master Krakken Knashbone, Captain-General of the archers for the East Kingdom.

What does this mean, Elise?

I now have the following responsibilites as mentioned in the East Kingdom Laws & Policies (this is simply the job description, for full information go to the www.eastkingdom.org website):

"4. Lieutenant-General
To assist the Archery Commanders with their duties by:

1. Training marshals and administering the warranting procedure.
2. Organizing an annual regional archery war practice and overseeing the muster of archers in time of war.
3. Reporting their activities to the Captain-General twice annually, as defined below.
4. Keeping the Regional Archery Commanders advised of their activities.
5. Keeping the files of the office in good order."

At present, I am the only LT-General for archery residing within the Barony of Ruantallan. The next nearest LT_Generals are in Quebec.

I would like to encourage discussion, from the populace, as well as archery marshals on topics such as:

• how to improve the current state of archery
• the goals and desires of individual groups
• populace input on archery in general
• the future of archery over the next couple of years.

If you have an interest in beoming an archery marshal, please contact me and I can let you know what skills and committment would be required and the responsibilities of an archery marshal. I have the responsibility to train marshals and administering the warranting process.
