Coronet Addressed the Curia

Salient points:

  • If you approach the Coronet with any complaint, expect them to research the facts. They do not want ! to work with just one side of a story.
  • The Coronet sees their job as the voice of the populous and moderators in the Barony.
  • The Coronet is concerned that some people somehow do not see them as approachable.
  • The Coronet welcomes Curia's opinions and advice.
  • Some individuals apparently feel that Maria's job as Baroness is somehow less than her former position as Princess of Avacal. Neither Maria nor James feel this way. The Coronet takes it's job very seriously.
  • The Coronet advises the Curia to learn to work together better. Infighting hurts the barony and also hurts the Northern Shores principality movement. Furthermore, having a principality would help the Kingdom.

A secret ballot was taken and Wendy's bid was found in favour. Len was commended on his bid and encouraged to resubmit his bid for another date.
  3. The Chatelaine decided to resign from office because of philosophical differences with members of curia. His deputy, Tina Oliver, will be acting Chatelaine until the position is filled. Ivan will advertise the positions. Curia thanked Len for this work in the Chatelaines office.
