Held in the Canton of Seashire

Award Changes
Her Excellency Baroness Esperanza has proposed changes to the Order of the Iceberg Award, in definition as well as what it does.

The Iceberg would be intended as the top award in the Barony. Proposal includes:

• removal of the order structure and principal
• removing the limit on the number of members in the order

Discussion regarding whether to make the order a polling order was discussed. The Baroness feels that in it's current process, the polling for the award was not working. It was suggested that a mailing list be set up for the Order of the Iceberg and a polling be instituted for a trial period.

The current badge is not possible as is, and therefore a new badge design is being pursued, as voted on by the populace.

Those present for the parliament voted in favour of pursuing the changes to the Order of the Iceberg

Baronial Election
The two nominees for the position of Baronial Seneschal, Lady Zelina Silverfox and Lady Niniae of Witches Oak, were given an opportunity to speak to the populace gathered and talk about their history with the SCA, as well as their vision(s) for our Barony.

The populace were then given the opportunity to ask questions of the candidates.

After all questions were exhausted, a secret ballot was taken, as well as absentee ballots collected in advance by Her Excellency, Baroness Esperanza, and the ballots were counted.

The majority voted in favour of Lady Zelina Silverfox as the new Baronial Seneschal for Ruantallan.

Baronial Parliament was then closed.
