The Barony of Ruantallan

elcome to the Barony of Ruantallan, found in the East Kingdom of the known world. You are about to enter the current middle ages ... prepare yourself!

The Barony of Ruantallan operates as an official Barony of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). The SCA is a non-profit, educational organization that studies and attempts to re-create pre-1600 AD Western civilization and its influences. More to the point, members of the SCA selectively recreate medieval culture, choosing the elements that interest and attract them.

Ruantallan encompasses three groups (cantons) Distant Shore, Seashire, and Ynys y Gwaed.

Baronial Rapier Champion
Lord Guthfrith has triumphed over the other challengers in the barony to claim his third term as our rapier champion.

Baronial Defender
We welcome back Lord Barnabus for another year of defending our border from people wielding rapiers.
